Recently, Foshan Chuda Machinery officially unveiled its new flagship product — the CD-900 Split Heavy-Duty Cutting Machine. Integrated with a number of self-developed patented technologies, this new model is specially developed for heavy-duty cutting of profiles, pipes and large workpieces. Featuring powerful drive, extra-large processing range, reliable performance and innovative structural design, it enriches the company’s product portfolio in the heavy-duty cutting equipment sector and is now fully available on the market, delivering high-load, high-precision and high-efficiency cutting solutions for manufacturers across the industry.
Heavy-duty cutting machines play a core role in industrial profile processing, metal component fabrication and large material cutting. Traditional heavy-duty cutting equipment commonly suffers from insufficient power, limited processing dimensions, bulky structure and poor stability during continuous operation. When handling large-size workpieces and high-volume mass production, such equipment is prone to cutting jitter, uneven cutting surfaces and rapid component wear, which undermines production efficiency and increases operational and maintenance costs for enterprises. Based on in-depth insights into industry pain points and end-users’ actual production demands, Chuda Machinery leverages years of technical expertise in aluminum and metal cutting equipment. Combining mainstream application scenarios, the brand has achieved comprehensive upgrades in structure, power system and manufacturing techniques to develop the CD-900 Split Heavy-Duty Cutting Machine.
The power system serves as the core of heavy-duty cutting equipment. The CD-900 is equipped with an 18.5 kW high-power spindle motor, which delivers steady and sufficient power output. It easily handles high-intensity cutting of thick materials, hard materials and large-specification workpieces without power attenuation under heavy loads. The spindle speed ranges from 1500 r/min to 3500 r/min. The wide adjustable speed range allows flexible gear switching according to different materials and processing requirements. The low-speed mode is ideal for thick-walled profiles and hard metals to ensure stable cutting and reduce saw blade wear, while the high-speed mode is adopted for mass cutting of regular workpieces to greatly boost overall productivity, striking a perfect balance between processing quality and efficiency.
In terms of processing parameters, this machine boasts outstanding working performance. Its maximum single feeding stroke reaches 1500 mm. The long feeding design minimizes repeated material feeding and positioning, which is especially suitable for continuous processing of long profiles and effectively cuts down working hours. It achieves a maximum cutting width and height of 350 mm respectively. The spacious cutting area covers the processing demands of most large profiles, square pipes and solid components, enabling one machine to handle diverse production orders. Additionally, the machine can be fitted with saw blades of up to 950 mm in diameter. The combination of large saw blades and extended cutting range expands processing capacity, enabling one-piece cutting of extra-large workpieces instead of segmented cutting. It guarantees intact cutting surfaces and superior processing accuracy.
Different from conventional integrated cutting machines, the CD-900 adopts a split structure. The well-optimized layout effectively reduces vibration and enhances overall stability. It maintains excellent cutting accuracy even during long-hour non-stop operation. Notably, this model adopts multiple patented manufacturing techniques independently developed by Chuda Machinery. Strict production standards are applied to frame forging, transmission structure optimization and core component assembly, greatly improving the durability and fatigue resistance of parts. The service life of the whole machine is extended, and the subsequent maintenance and parts replacement costs are lowered. Meanwhile, the split structure facilitates equipment transportation, installation and routine maintenance, making it well-suited for layout in large and medium-sized workshops and professional processing factories.
Currently, industries including metal processing, building material profiles and equipment manufacturing are moving toward large-scale, heavy-duty and high-efficiency production, raising higher requirements for the overall performance of heavy-duty cutting equipment. The launch of the CD-900 Split Heavy-Duty Cutting Machine marks another technological breakthrough for Chuda Machinery, as well as a strategic move to follow industry trends and meet customers’ practical needs.
Going forward, Chuda Machinery will continue to focus on the cutting equipment sector, take technological innovation as the core, explore industry demands in depth and continuously optimize product performance. We will launch more high-performance and highly reliable mechanical equipment to help all partners cut costs, improve efficiency and strengthen market competitiveness, working together to drive the high-quality development of the industry.
