The conventional edge banding machine aluminum profile adopted for actual testing features a cross-section of 128mm×92mm and a wall thickness of 8mm. Traditional 450 small cutting machines struggle with this thick material: single cutting takes 22 seconds, unilateral burrs reach 0.15mm to 0.3mm, and batch dimensional tolerance fluctuates within ±0.12mm. Frequent blade replacement and workpiece rework lead to high labor and material costs, while unstable vibration accelerates the wear of spindles and core components.
As a targeted heavy-duty cutting model, the Chuda CD-550 is equipped with a 3.7KW high-power dynamically calibrated spindle, with spindle concentricity controlled within 0.01mm. It supports stepless speed regulation from 1800r/min to 3200r/min, maintaining stable torque at 2400r/min for thick aluminum cutting to avoid stalling and aluminum adhesion. Matched with a 550mm professional aluminum cutting saw blade with 120 trapezoidal flat teeth and anti-stick coating, the machine delivers smooth chip removal and continuous stable cutting. With a maximum cutting size of 160mm×110mm, it fully covers the processing demands of mainstream edge banding machine aluminum profiles.
The CD-550 adopts a 1.6-ton thickened cast iron bed and dual hydraulic clamping structure, effectively suppressing cutting vibration and ensuring clamping repeat accuracy within 0.03mm. Equipped with servo segmented feeding and dual-circuit large-flow cooling system, it stably maintains a feed speed of 420mm/min, achieving full cooling and lubrication during cutting to fundamentally reduce burrs and tool wear.
On-site batch test data shows significant advantages of the CD-550 over ordinary equipment. The single cutting time is shortened from 22 seconds to 11 seconds, doubling production efficiency. The cutting burr is controlled within 0.03mm, requiring no manual polishing and directly supporting subsequent drilling and assembly processes. The batch dimensional tolerance is stabilized at ±0.04mm, raising the finished product qualification rate to 99.8%. Meanwhile, the service life of the saw blade is extended from 3–5 days to 12–15 days, reducing consumable costs by 65%. The continuous cutting vibration is controlled within 0.02mm, effectively protecting core components and lowering long-term equipment maintenance costs.
